What devices are supported?
Ten Thousand Skies is made for iPad and requires iPadOS 26 or later.
Do I have to share my location?
No. Location access is optional. You can choose a place manually and explore its sky without giving the app access to your device location.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The star and constellation data is included with the app, and the sky is calculated on your device. No account or internet connection is required.
How do I remove saved information?
Saved destinations can be deleted in the app, and preferences can be reset. All of this information is stored locally on your iPad.
Can I reduce motion or make the display easier to read?
Yes. Ten Thousand Skies supports reduced motion, higher contrast, larger text, and reduced star twinkle. It also follows relevant system accessibility settings.
